Inspiration till bröllop med 50-tals tema – Stylad modefotografering i festlig pastell för Your London Wedding Magazine.
A styled 1950’s wedding fashion shoot published by Your London Wedding Magazine.
Here comes an inspiration shoot for weddings with a 1950’s theme. And this was so much fun! Amelia Barnes the creator behind the shoot and owner of Miss Vintage Wedding Affair, contacted me out of the blue, asking me if I would like to do this shoot with her. Of course. Using products from several suppliers within the genre of vintage weddings, she put a lovely set together. I’ve never really focused on vintage weddings or specialized in vintage. We talked a lot about the look in the images beforehand. What I find a bit sad with vintage style photography, is that photographers tend to drain the colours. I experimented a lot during the editing process, and came up with a vintage look that kept all the popping pastel colors. Amelia loved it.
We did two shoots at Battersea Arts Cente. First out is this playful shoot in a 1950’s wedding look. Popping shades of pastel, authentic popular design, and the doll like beauty ideal of this era. Think Marilyn Monroe attending a kid’s party. As a photographer you can loose yourself in the rooms at BAC, I’m so lucky to live 10 minutes from this gorgeous building. We started off in The Grand Hall. But then we also discovered the conservatoire and the amazingly quirky staircase of the entrance hall.
A couple of days later we did a shoot in 30’s style. It was fantastic to be part of these two shoots. With so many creative talents among wedding professionals in London coming together. Here follows some shots from our first shoot. So just lean back, have a bubble gum and a milk shake ready. And be inspired ♥
